Plumptious Yo Yo was found cowering in the bushes in someone's garden. Judging by her plentiful padding, she had not been a stray for long, but the experience had clearly unnerved her and she remains somewhat wary and distrustful.
Thanks to the patience and dedication of our volunteer cat socialisers, she has greatly improved and she certainly wants to be friendly, but what she needs now is a calm, patient, adult home where she can learn to relax and enjoy being a pet.
It will come as no surprise to learn that she loves her food and this will be useful for bonding with her during the settling in period in her new home, although she must not be allowed to get any bigger.
Her new people should encourage her to play and she should have access to a garden once settled.
