Tom & Joe

It would be fair to say that in this relationship, Joe loves Tom rather more than Tom loves Joe. Sweet Joe only has three legs and he likes to be as close to his pal as possible - a situation that Tom frequently finds exasperating to the point of giving him a smack. A separation was considered, but the idea was rejected as Joe couldn't cope and anyway, once they are settled in their new home, they will have more space and Tom can have some Me Time whenever he wants, as he is a confident, outdoorsy boy while Joe prefers to stay close to home. Tom is a forceful character, much given to grumbling and groaning to himself, to everyone's amusement, whereas Joe is a timid soul, who needs lots of reassurance.

These two great old codgers would love to live in a calm, peaceful home with access to their own garden. They may be getting on in years, but they will be rewarding companions for anyone who is willing to give them a loving retirement home.
