Sienna

Sienna was left to fend for herself when her previous owners moved abroad. Luckily for her, she is a capable cat and coped stoically with her abandonment until she was rescued and brought in to Battersea. In fact, she was somewhat disgruntled about being put in a small pen after having had the run of the house and garden and total freedom to do as she pleased.

Sienna is an independent cat who has a self-imposed limit on the length of time that she likes to be stroked and made a fuss of. In a home, she would be able to walk off when she has had enough, but within the confines of her pen, her only recourse is to give you a smack, if you haven't read the early warning signs. She needs to live in a mature adult household with people who like a feline presence in the home, but who do not necessarily want to smother their cat with hugs and kisses. She would be perfectly happy on her own while her people are at work; in fact, she might appreciate them all the more for not always being there. She must have access to a garden once settled.
