Millie

Millie came to us as a gift, her previous home was very stressful, and she found it hard to cope with the young child in the household. Since being at brands hatch she has adjusted well and settled well, enjoying the company of adults. She is a very sweet older girl who enjoys company and enjoys a fuss, being a long haired cat with very fluffy fur, Millie needs a daily grooming routine, something which she is not overly keen on at the moment, she will happily allow grooming, especially if eating at the same time!, but grooming should be kept to short sessions and carried out gently, millie does have a grumble and the odd hiss if she is pushed too far, when this happens the session should always be stopped and you should walk away, leaving her to calm down. When millie came to us she had lots of matts, these have been shaved off so that the new owner can start again.
As millie is an older lady she prefers to have a litter tray down all the time, and likes to be let out into the garden, not going through a cat flap! Millie is used to going out but did not go very far in her previous home or for very long.
Millie is looking for the following things in her new home:

* Access to her own garden, with no other feline visitors!
* Access to a litter tray all the time
* Quiet home, would suit a less active home
* Experienced owners who have had a long haired cat before
* Household with no children or visiting children
* Household with no dogs
* Millie cannot live with another cat
