Maxi lived with an elderly owner in a quiet home, where he led a calm and peaceful existence until the day he came in to Battersea. He has gradually become used to his new life, having been her for some weeks now, although he does get upset by the other cats and is looking forward to the day when he can have his own place again, preferably in an area with a low cat population.

This slender cat (he may have a Bengal parent or grandparent in his ancestry) would do best in a quiet, adult home, with experienced owners who will take things slowly with him, as he is bound to be worried by another change of residence. He is gently affectionate, once he feels safe and secure, but he has a good line in ferocious hissing in circumstances where he feels threatened.

Maxi should be the only cat in his new home; he would be prefer not to be left on his own for a working day as he likes company, and he should have access to a garden or secure roof terrace once settled
If you think you've got room for a small one, please come in to Battersea to register or leave a message for Ros on 020 7627 9234 or email: [email protected].

Please note that there are many cats in the Home and in our satellite sites of all ages, shapes, sizes and personalities and we are only able to feature a small selection on the web.
