Kitty Kat came to the home as a gift, due to her unpredictable and obvious dislike of young children in the home. Kat seems to to think she has an air of royalty to her, and has acquired the name "Princess Kitty Kat" along the way, due to her love of her throne in her pen. She rather likes sitting on her chair casting regal looks on anyone who looks into her pen. Kitty Kat is under no illusion of her status and seems to think that us humans here are only to speak to their subject and definitely not allowed to touch her, especially without one's permission.
See Kitty Kat has always been like this, even in her last home she had the exact same ways, she is just very funny about who she likes, and only ever bonded with the female owner in the last home. It was only ever the woman that she went to and the woman who was allowed to pet her and certainly the ladies lap who she chose to go on. If Kitty Kat does not want you to stroke her she will grumble at you, and if she has to she will happily swipe you, if you are still not getting the message. She chooses her servants wisely and has bonded well here with one and loves to see her and gets very excited when she is around, Kat you see does not mind this human stroking her and will happily let her stroke her from head to tail, and loves to play with her. If she is in the mood she will even walk up and down her lap before settling down beside her.
Kitty Kat will probably be the same in a new home, she may improve slightly, but she is never going to be a cuddly cat, she very much knows her own mind, and is not really something an owner can improve on, she copes better with people who are hands off with her and do not try to force her to be something she is not. She is however, cheeky, chatty, playful, affectionate and friendly, it just might be a bit more subtle than with some other cats, she is not for everyone, but an owner who likes an independent female who knows her own mind might be just what she is looking for.
Kitty Kat is waiting for a new home and needs the following:
- Experienced owner who appreciates an independent cheeky nature
- Room to settle into, at least for a week
- Ideal for some one out a working day
- Semi-rural/rural environment, quiet area with low cat population
- Single person home is ideal (female owner would be fantastic)
- Quiet household
- Not to live with other cats or dogs
- Not to live with children now or in the future.
