Mr Bowie's lovely locks were in a state of total disarray when we first set eyes on him; nobody had attended to his grooming for some time possibly because he only tolerates it for a couple of minutes at a time.

He is usually a placid and demonstrably affectionate fellow, but he does object when that grooming brush goes near his back.

His new people should have previous experience of grooming longhaired cats and should consider it to be an enjoyable cat lovers' bonus rather than a tedious task.

Bowie is a confident and independent boy who would be perfectly happy to amuse himself while his people are out at work as long as he can have access to a garden. An adult only home is preferred.
