Leo

How can you resist such a sad face?

Leo is a quiet, sweet-natured, calm and affectionate greyhound who has only really known the kennel environment as a racer. Like all ex-racing greyhounds, he has never been taught how to play but he has a little glint in his eye when you wave a soft toy about! He lives for food so he will need to be taught that not all food is his as this is what he is used to. Leo is typically sensitive so he needs a calm and quiet household where he can curl up and sleep without being pestered. He loves being around people so new owners should get him used to spending short bursts on his own.

Like all ex-racers, Leo will need to wear a muzzle and lead when he goes on walks so make sure you have access to an enclosed area so he can sprint safely of lead for a couple of minutes.

No cats please and no young children due to his overzealous attitude to food. 

Finally Leo is a gentle creature looking for a couple of basic home comforts. Come and say hello to those big sad eyes.
