Jelly is a true lurcher; very sensitive, gentle, calm and affectionate. She was incredibly nervous when she first came into Battersea and it has taken a while to really build up her confidence. Now she is quite playful with both people and other dogs. She will always have a sensitive and nervous edge so new owners will have to accept this and take things slowly with her. She needs a quiet, semi-rural area in an adult only household. However once that bond has been built, you will wonder how you ever managed without her.
