Ben came to Battersea Dogs Home as a gift in February 2003. He was having problems with the children in the household. He was referred to the rehabilitation team where they have worked through his behaviour problems, this included gaining a focus around other dogs. He has good motivations for food & toys, which should be used for training.
Ben is looking for experienced owners who will be confident to socialise him around other dogs & who will also be able to cope if he becomes territorial in his new home towards people.
He needs a large home preferably in a semi-rural location with a garden for training.
He is unable to live with children or have visiting children come to the home.
He would love a multi-carer adult household who will be able to keep him occupied & keep up with his energy levels.
Any potential new owners will receive training & advice from the rehab team & will need to visit him at least twice at the home.
