Batty

I've got a new home!   Back to thumbnails

ref: 2003/06498
size: Medium
age: 2-3 years old
sex: Male

centre: Battersea
breed: english Bull Terrier Cross
arrived on: 31/12/03

Batty came in to Battersea on New Years Eve 2003 as a stray and he was referred originally to our Rehabilitation Department (rehab) for 'chase issues with other dogs' and he then spent time with the rehab team working through the problem so that he would be suitable to go to a new home.
Batty does not cope very well in this environment at Battersea and is finding life hard especially when in his kennel. Once out from his kennel Batty is a clam and will relax.
Batty is looking for people that have good experience of Bull terriers who will be willing to work with him closely and follow advise that we will give to help you settle Batty in.
He will need a multi carer household with children that are over 14 years old in a semi rural environment with a home with a garden and owner that will be home most of the day. He could live with another dog if it is an older female.
Batty has a super character and a very good temperament. He can seem a little aloof initially on meeting him but once a bond has been established he is very affectionate and will make a very rewarding pet.
