Alberto

This fun Lurcher who did not come into Battersea in the best condition is looking for either a well experienced lurcher or greyhound home or one that is enthusiastic and will to listen and carry out all advice that is given to them. We believe that Alberto has lived most of his life outside, therefore he will need a little bit more time and training than some other dogs just to help him adjust to a new way of life.
As we believe that Alberto has lived outside most of his life, house training and basic commands will need to be done from scratch, also his manners may not be the best till he realizes the rules of the house (with time and firm ground rules).
Alberto will need to wear a muzzle and be on lead when he goes on Walks, he is good with dogs but due to chase characteristics of the breed and possible back ground it would be safer for this to be done.
He should not live with cats or young children (teenagers only) in a semi rural environment so he can have space to run around, in a home with a garden.

Alberto just needs a chance to show his true potential and become a fabulous pet for some very lucky people.
