Basil is a delightfully dignified gentleman cat. Quiet and withdrawn for his first few days here, he now happily rouses himself from his snoozes to come forward for strokes, head butts and grooming. He would very much like to live in a quiet household where he is treated with respect and affection. He is not happy around young children and needs to have a garden as he is the kind of cat who would love to bask in the sunshine on a summer's day.
